“There’s no dry day in the forecast after Friday,” warns a meteorologist. Seattle has had 140 rainy days since Oct. 1 — blowing past the previous record with more rain to come before the month is over. – Seattle Times Friday April 20, 2017
As I am sitting here in front of the window waiting for the record-breaking rains to arrive, here’s a look at the spring blossoms at the Washington Park Arboretum before the storm.
Happy Earth Day everyone! And for those of you in Seattle, stay dry!
Mind boggling photos🙋🙋🙋🙋

Same deal with the rain down here in Portland. Worse yet, we couldn’t take advantage of April’s nice day due to other commitments. It’s nice that you could.

Thanks Dave. The rain is cleared now. Maybe we will see sun tomorrow?

The blooms look so beautiful – likewise, I can’t help myself from taking a visit (or two) to the local park to take some snaps at this time of year!

Ah! I remember these blossoms on the West Coast from the days when I lived in Vancouver. Thanks for this lovely reminder.

Oh those are beautiful photos! Lovely flowers ❤ We're having a very cold spring here in Poland so I haven't had the chance to go out and take photos of spring blooms yet 🙂

I guess if one is looking for the bright side to all this rain, you sure do appreciate the little bits of sun when they show up! 🙂

Aren’t they fabulous? 🙂 Our parks are full of them here. Very cool and bright with flurries of snow forecast here. Happy Spring! 🙂 🙂

I love the cherry blossoms-gotta get to the arboretum soon!

I love them too. It might be a little bit late given all the rain we’ve had this past week. But I think you might still see some and definitely Magnolias.

It is such a short season to catch them in bloom. Fortunately, we do have many of the trees in our neighborhood, so I have seen some blossoms!

Hope I didn’t miss the cherry blossoms here. Maybe I’ll go to the garden tomorrow. Think it’s going to rain but that doesn’t bother me as long as I have the right clothes on. Also my allergies are killing me. In the rain I feel better. Lovely pics. I’ve fallen behind, catching up on your posts.
