In the morning I had a late start. I went to Intersport, rented the trekking poles – so I don’t have to wait for the store to open before heading to the trails next day – and dropped them off at the hotel. I completed Portuguese language A2 study last month. To celebrate, I made a quick trip to the French Alps. This was my second time in Chamonix – Many years ago I trekked the Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) from France to Italy and Switzerland – it remains one of my favourite areas in the whole wide world.
