We’ve been out on the tundra for almost an hour…
So far no bears…

With nature, you never know…but I kept telling myself if I can see one bear out there…well maybe two, I would be happy :).
Then I saw it…
Out on the tundra
Behind the bushes
Play-fighting
Taking a dump (sorry…)
Finding one another
Love at first sight
Watch for that paw
Bring it on
Let’s do it right this time
Yep, that’s more like it
I love you bro!
Here comes a grown-up one
Just passing…
Kids, let’s get moving
It’s not safe when this guy’s lurking around
Guys…
C’mon, let’s get outta here
before they notice us.
Phew!
To find out more about the location and how to get there, read my post here.

That’s absolutely magical. I remember the first time I heard of Churchill was when I was around nine or ten – I used to read a series called Animal Ark, and one of the books was set there – and ever since then its been somewhere I’d love to visit.

Thank you Rosie. I have never read that book, will check it out 🙂

It’s a series aimed primarily at children, with each one featuring a different animal and scenario; before I had pets, this was one of the next best things!

Oh it’s so beautiful! Did they notice you at all? Where was it?

Most of them did not. We were far from them. This was in Churchill Canada.

Oh that’s a cool travel!
It’s so sad that these wonderful animals are losing their habitat year after year.

What a wonderful experience to see these polar bears. I love them but have only seen them in the zoo which is a bit depressing. I am happy to see these ones looking so well.
